On-Line and Batch FAST/CMA application.

Financial Accounting System Technology – FAST - creates the Corporate Paper Compensating Balance Account Analysis Statements. FAST creates account analysis statements on a monthly basis, which summarize customer DDA balances, as well as the balanced-based services used by each individual customer.

Customer Maintenance Application – CMA - maintains customer and account information for North American GRB customers, including: address, industry codes, account name and number, non-financial statement information and parent/subsidiary hierarchies.

On-Line and Batch Host to Host (HTH) system, which is a component of Worldlink and a pass-through to payment applications. HTH receives payment instructions for cheques, wires ACH and Mass Pay via client input files, FX functions are supported and client account debit messages (MT202) are generated. USD ACH payments are passed to PEP+, European ACH currencies are passed to IMPS, and Asian ACH currencies are passed to CitiDirect, which in its turn passes them to Paylink, which passes them to the bene banks. Projects completed/worked on:

1.Add ACH Remittance Advice capabilities;

2.Worldlink ACH Expansion (Asia); MQ Series were used

1.CitiDirect Liquidity Investments, where CitiChecking provided Informational Warehouse with the data, that enables CitiDirect to produce reports and inquiries for customers to see the resultant transactional activity, balances and benefits of the Liquidity management structures like: USD Pooling, Concentration and Money Market Sweep.

On-Line and Batch Trade Affirmation II – Historical Information Trade System (HITS), which is a part of New Trade Processing architecture (NTPA). HITS is fed by Purchase & Sale (P&S), Online trade Processing (OTP) and provides a number of reports and on-line inquires. Developed several reports including retail reps daily list of trades. Extracts were created on request basis. For some of them data was located in the DB2 tables, and QMF’s FORM was utilized, for others data was located in the GDG files. Provided full analysis and correction of missing currency ID in feed supplied by HITS.

Working on EMU (European Economic and Monetary Union) for HITS developed several reports, enhanced link between currency and country in the EMU – zone, where one-to-one link between currency and country no longer applies, and any assumptions where currency had been used as a proxy for country have been revisited. Developed Country of Settlement Processing to identify the country used to settle an EMU product domestically so that the correct settlement instructions are processed. Hard coded use of currency code like association of legacy currencies and settlement was reviewed and modified. On-Line and batch reports were amended to include country of settlement.

Programs were written in COBOL-II, DB2, QMF, CICS, JCL and utilities, HPS Rules Language.

ADP (Automatic Data Processing) Brokerage Service Division

ADP Checkwriting System, which is a real time, on-line service offered through

Brokerage Terminal Services (BTS):

Participated in initial development of Funds Wire Subsystem. This system automates the process by which funds from customer accounts are requested, validated, approved and sent from the clients’ (Broker) bank to individual customers’ accounts at their specified bank via the FED wire. The collection of data occurs real time during the day. The subsystem allows for periodic transmissions to occur between ADP and the client in order for data to be sent to their bank. Users can maintain and approve Wire Destination information for repetitive wires in the Funds Wire Account Profile file for the customer accounts being processed.

A separate screen is available for the requesting of Funds Wires, distinct from Check Requests due to the numerous Wire Destination Profile fields that must be displayed and verified prior to the processing of Funds Wire.

Programs were written in COBOL-II, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL and Utilities.

On-Line and Batch Development Production Record System (DPRS). This system tracks information from the initial engineering development cycle through manufacturing history.
