Collect, review, and evaluate intelligence reports, assessments, and other data from multiple sources, for technical accuracy, the relevance and significance of information relative to the domestic and international harvests and trade in regulated products.
Analyze complex business transactions, relationships, and trade in regulated marine products, for the purpose of reporting illegal activities to OLE staff, which analysis may include tracking vessel registry and ownership, tracking fisheries products in international trade or financial assets, and tracking vessels through multiple ownership and/or international registry changes.
Actively engage and provide technical input and/or presentations, as needed, in interagency and international meetings and conferences in support of the OLE mission and provide reports/briefs of such meetings to OLE leadership.
Act as a SME and key representative in CTAC for Customs (CBP) import systems and with other federal and state government agencies to facilitate information sharing and interagency operational partnerships.
Serve as initial liaison with staff in other federal and state government agencies, intergovernmental organizations, international agencies, and other organizations and officials as required to facilitate information sharing and inter-agency partnerships.
