GE Payroll system called PDS (Payroll Distribution system) this application runs both in PeopleSoft and Mainframes. PeopleSoft system is the front system for the entire GE business. The present GE payroll system driven by SSN, GE wants to change the SSN driven system to SSO driven. PeopleSoft to produce a SSO version of the paycalc extract to legacy system to build new SSO driven system. All efforts are include to run both the systems parallel (SSN and SSO system) There can be no differences in dollar amounts or the number of records contained in the file. Once SSO system is stabilized SSN system will be faded slowly.
