I am a project management professional (PMP) and MBA holder with more than 15 years of experience. Working as a lead Mechanical Engineer for Alghanim International General Trading & Contracting Co. WLL (Kuwait) in Sabyia CCGT 1 adds on power plant 250 MW:

The existing facility consists of two (2) outdoor combustion turbine generators (CTGs) GE Frame 9F (2 x 250 MW) installed and commissioned in 2016.The new project accommodates two (1) combined cycle modules. This modules have a 2x2x1 configuration consisting of four (2) combustion turbines from the existing units. Each one feeds its exhaust gases to its respective heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) /GE HRSG for a total of two (2) HRSGs and one GE 250 MW nominal steam turbine unit. Steam generated from the four (2) HRSGs feeds one 250 MW, condensing steam turbine generator (STG).

-Lead and manage the mechanical team constructing HRSG, steam turbine and BOP with all related auxiliaries.

-Providing a professional service on installation and commissioning supervision during the full project cycle from revising scope of work,ITP, inputs into planning, execution of scope starting from receiving material(MRR), checking imbedded parts and foundation, fixators installation/sole plates, checking clearances, pre-alignment, pump check, run-out for rotor ending by final alignment and checking keys clearance and welding),critical piping

Working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer /acting as Mechanical Contract Manager for PGESCO in EL SHABAB adds power plant 500 MW.

- The existing facility consists of eight (8) outdoor combustion turbine generators (CTGs) GE Frame 9E (8 x 125 MW) installed and commissioned in 2011.The new project accommodates two (2) combined cycle modules. Both modules have a 4x4x1 configuration consisting of four (4) combustion turbines from the existing units. Each one feeds its exhaust gases to its respective heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) for a total of four (4) HRSGs and one 250 MW nominal steam turbine unit. Steam generated from the four (4) HRSGs feeds one 250 MW, non- reheat, condensing steam turbine generator (STG).

-Lead and manage the mechanical team constructing HRSG, steam turbine and BOP with all related auxiliaries and any subcontractors.

-Providing a professional service on installation and commissioning supervision during the full project cycle from revising scope of work,ITP, quality plans, inputs into planning, execution of scope,closing out

-Assist in the spares identification and recommendation for owners side before handing over

-Ensure that quality plans and check sheets are in line with OEM procedures, specification

-Gas,steam turbine,HRSG and water treatment installation supervision beginning from receiving material, checking imbedded parts and foundation, fixators installation/sole plates, checking clearances, pre-alignment, pump check, run-out for rotor ending by final alignment and checking keys clearance and welding),
