Period : From January 2014 to December 2016

Project 1 : South East Car Park for Qatar Foundation (B+G+3Floors) QAR 470 M. Built-up area: 150,000 sq.m. Having 3160 Car Parking Spaces.

Project 2 : Design, Construct and Maintain 12 Buildings with all Infrastructure Works. (Part of New Port Project - JV with M/s Afcons)-QAR 205 M.

Significant Highlights:

Reduced S/C’s cost significantly from their claims and variation claims by continuous tracking of executed quantities by each S/C and thoroughly reviewing substantiation for their variation claims so that possibility of double claims/false claims were avoided.

Back charged Subcontractors for total amount of QAR.30 Million for the Resources provided to S/Cs which was accepted by S/Cs, since proper records were maintained & accounted.

When ERP system was introduced, quantum of Subcontract work orders & payment certificates had been entered within the short period of time.

Commercial Reports are submitted within short time period of joining in the project by quick understanding the concepts of Organization's methodology.

Project : Five Star Hotel Resort Project - at Jabal Al Akhdhar for Omran –OMR 14 M

Significant Highlights:

Finalized all Provisional Sum, PC Sum Items & subcontractor Packages, Indenting Construction Materials in time for the successful completion of the project.

Joined after six months of Project Progress, Avoided significant loss of money by clear investigation of all drawings, errors found in previous Bills/Claims in Quantities of civil items & missed out steel quantities in various buildings of the project were recovered.

Period : From April 2010 to April 2012

Project : Cooling Water Pump House Project (One of the projects of 2x600MW Thermal Power Plant, Tuticorin, India) - INR 75 Crores.

Significant Highlights:

Achieved Good Results on implementation of effective control measures for Material wastages and Labor Productivity and thereby completed works on time.

Submitting Payment Applications/Claims and getting Approval of the same on time for smooth running and timely completion of the project.

Significant Highlights:

Effectively reduced monthly supply labors cost and indirect labors cost which were above monthly budget by reducing surplus supply labors deployment and continuous monitoring of supply labors/indirect labors actual worked hours.

Successfully completed work and arranged Final payments and certificates.

Job Profile - Duties & Responsibilities:

Initial review of project – study the Conditions of Contract & Contract Document, understand the specifications and design drawings. Quantity take-off for all civil works.

Verifying & certifying Subcontract’s Interim/Final payments as per actual work progress and ensuring compliance to contractual obligations before certification.

Uploading of Subcontracts to ERP & ERP entry for Subcontract payment certificates.

Sending RFQs to Subcontractors with necessary documents, Evaluating Proposals, Comparative statements, recommending to the Management and Subcontracts Finalization with negotiations.

Reviewing & verifying Subcontractor’s variations/claims, recommending to the Management and clarifying Subcontractor’s queries.

Monitoring & Ensure Subcontractor’s performance in compliance with Contract and conduct meetings with Subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.

Accounting & maintaining proper records for the resources provided for Subcontractor’s works and issuing Debit notes with necessary backup documents/calculations.

Liaise to get PG bond, APG bond and various other relevant documents from Subcontractors and monitoring its validity and prior notifications for renewal.

Preparation, submission of Monthly Interim Payment Applications and getting approval & Payment Certificates from Client.

Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with relevant substantiation and documents as per contract obligations.

Monitoring variance in quantities between Contract BOQ Vs Construction Drawings, Construction Drawings Vs Actuals, and Subcontractor’s Claims Vs Actuals.

Identifying Variations in scope and timely notifications to Client/Subcontractors for the same.

Preparing & Submission of Provisional Sum Package, Variations/Claims to Consultant with all documents and all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer/Employer and getting approval of the same.

Preparation of monthly CTC Reports, Monthly Budget Forecast reports, Weekly & Monthly Achievement Reports and notify to Project Management for shortfall.

Monitoring the Budget, Budget revision and advising about cost over runs and ensuring to remain within the approved budget.

Preparing Bill of Quantities, Preliminary Estimates, and Detailed Estimation for Projects.

Calculation, Indenting & Reconciliation of construction materials and control wastages.

Preparation of BBS and getting approval from Design Consultant.

Preparing Labor Productivity reports, Monitoring Labor Productivity & reporting to PM.

Preparing and updating logs for Client/Subcontractor bills & Payments, Variation/Claim logs & Subcontractor’s liability log.

Attending progress review meetings with Client/Consultant and discussing to resolve contractual matters in relation with variations/claims.

Responsible to verify the Bill of Quantities in relation to the tender drawings and specifications. Raising tender queries/ clarification required for pricing.
