Professional Experience

Executive Administrative Assistant to the Development Vice President – New Cairo Area – Palm Hills Developments (January 2018 until present)

Assisting the Vice President in any required tasks including making meeting appointments, travel arrangements, and working together on a weekly plan listing all tasks that are assigned to each team, consisting of a Project Manager & a Coordinator, in each Project of the 9 projects in the New Cairo Area and follow up throughout the week to make sure each task is accomplished before the end of the week or within the agreed time frame.

Acting as a link between the Vice President and the rest of the Engineering team working on site to communicate any information needed or action required.

Supervising two junior employees (a Document Controller and an Archiving clerk) and providing them with a weekly work plan & following up with them closely to make sure all tasks are achieved efficiently & in a timely manner so that all deadlines are perfectly met.

Handling all incoming & outgoing correspondences including writing official memos, letters, and emails to governmental as well as non-governmental entities.

Keeping a record of all incoming & outgoing data in the department & maintaining a proper filing system in hard copies as well as an up-to-date filing system in soft copies shared with the whole department through Laserfiche software.

Initiating & obtaining all budget approvals required for new contracts whether it’s with a supplier or a contractor in each project through Oracle program.

Following up with the Finance department on all payments that must be issued & throughout the entire process until the final stage when those payments are finalized & ready to be picked up & notifying the Project Coordinator or Project Manager responsible in each project to communicate the information to the supplier or contractor working there.

Providing a monthly log/report reflecting all payments made to each supplier and contractor in every project in the New Cairo area.

Responsible for all the departments requests for offices supplies as well as the IT hardware, and handling all requests for leave, car missions, petty cash, per diems, etc.

New Product Development Manager – Freelance – Sobar Restaurant, Soma Bay – Egypt (July – December 2016)

Introducing a new culinary experience in Soma Bay based on the use of local produce from the Egyptian market. The aim is to use these fresh components & turn them into creative, unique niche products that are exclusive to the store.

Brainstorming and coming up with creative ideas/recipes for the final food products by visiting local markets, doing extensive online research as well as going through a wide collection of recipe books to choose original components to create & finalize the products intended for sale.

Job responsibilities also included assembling & preparing a recipe booklet enclosing the recipes, ingredients, list of suppliers, quantities/sizes & costing.

Benchmarking best practices in relation to both the products & the process of making them come alive itself. This phase should focus on how to make the products appear smart and eye-catching to customers through a theme for the store, an appealing display, and creative packaging ideas.

Working with the rest of the team on identifying the operational tools & equipment needed to set up a store which includes visiting stores to look for creative & cost-efficient packaging ideas in addition to online research, working on the creation of a theme for the store, handling staff uniforms, name tags, creation of brochures & take away menus, arranging a storage place, shelves, fridges, cash register, etc.
