This is Ramanunjan IT city project completed in Chennai near Tidal Park. It’s a commercial project. I took the whole plant’s Lab. responsibilities such as Mix design conducting, testing of raw materials like silt, moisture correction, specific gravity, gradation, cement test, fly-ash testing, impact value, crushing value, flakiness elongation, cube test, slump testing and maintaining of related record keeping and calibration of testing equip.& machine.

Responsibilities:

As a Lab Technician, I have taken the responsibilities such as: -

FIELD DENSITY – In situ density of all the non-bituminous layers sand replacement method and core-cutting method. Density of compacted bituminous layers by core cutting and water replacement method. Surface unevenness (with moving straight edge) and workmanship testing with Bump Integrator.

MIX DESIGN – Taken the responsibility of Design of bituminous mixes (BM,DBM,BC,SDBC) & non-bituminous mixes GSB, WMM) etc. as per specified requirement & technical specification design of concrete mixes.

LABORATORY CONTROL TEST – Responsible of all types of lab. test related to Soil, Granular sub-base, set mix macadam, dense bituminous macadam and bitu. Concrete mixes. All tests cement & flyash.
