-I have experience in most retail environments. Currently I am enrolled in the Ultimate Medical Academy’s Medical Billing & Coding Associates degree program, but will have my Medical Billing and Coding Diploma in approximately 7 months (as well as a 4.0 GPA). At this point in time I have open availability & reliable transportation. I would prefer part time work, but am very flexible and have no problem working night shift, doing the “dirty jobs”, and using my downtime to clean or organize, working self sufficiently or in a well communicating team. In the future would like to go back to college in PA, as I was only 18 credits short of my Bachelors degree in Fine Art and Psychology. I believe hard work and organization are key to achieving any goal and I truly do enjoy helping & caring for people. I hope you consider me for the position, thank you.
Work Experience:

people to donate to the less fortunate
-Assemble and set up metal sign, holder, and donation bucket
-Be aware of the donation bucket and near it at all times to avoid theft
-Greet every person that walked by and smile, make small talk (This was how I got one man to donate 600 dollars, the more we talked about topics we were both interested in, the more hundred dollar bills he kept adding to the donation bucket. This is just an example of how I can make use of my people skills, customer service experience, and sales experience in any situation.)

Volunteering:
-over 80 hours at AWSOM Animals Shelter in Stroudsburg. There were many dogs who always needed walking. Other duties included feeding, cleaning, and bathing the dogs. Cats were pet, brushed, and loved by me for many additional hours. I was able to help test dog's blood for certain illnesses by taking a sample with a syringe. This helped years later, when my own dog became diabetic and needed insulin shots.
-11+ hours at the East Stroudsburg Salvation Army. I helped shop for food, load it into the van, organize the pantry, and gave out to the people in the bread line. I also helped send hundreds of letters to those who gave donations to the Salvation Army, and briefly babysat two toddlers. They were more than happy to draw and color with me, or ask me to draw them pictures.
Acting and makeup experience:
-I was one of the makeup artists at the Haunted Horror Ride in Swansboro, NC, and worked on several people at once. This involved special effects makeup, as well as perfect “cat” eyeliner, etc. Volunteers played as actors with certain parts and costumes. Actors had to make up dialogue on the spot for each new group of people, changing it up each time to ensure guests enjoyed the Haunted Horror Ride.
