“Implementation of 1-D Discrete Wavelet Transform in Verilog used in JPEG2000 Compression System” – ISRO, India

oDescription: JPEG2000 is the latest image compression standard by the Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG). This project deals with Verilog Implementation of 1D Discrete Wavelet Transform in Xilinx FPGA which is a part of JPEG2000 Compression.

“VLSI Design architecture for Serial and Parallel CRC” – ISRO, India

oDescription: VLSI Architecture-based design model of a 16-bit Serial CRC and a Parallel CRC have been developed on the Xilinx Software. The testbench has been verified and the simulations are obtained along with the behavioral check syntax which demonstrates that the code is synthesizable. The design schematic and layout has been developed. The error check is further carried out to verify the net-list match during the LVS after routing. The floorplan of the optimized design is compiled using Encounter tool. A further area of research in this area of satellite research has been identified for reference.
