TPL Properties Private Limited Karachi – Pakistan

Based at Project Management/Developer’s Office and reporting to Director Design and Development. My Tasks and Achievements - I joined while the concept design was under development, feasibility model and studies performed. It is a pre-construction stage of the project. Initially, I developed a Document Management System and folder structure in the corporate office to record and track the pre-construction stage i.e. government authority’s approval, various reports like soil and subsoil study report, environmental/traffic study, frozen concept/schematic/detailed design. Also covering the tender stage i.e. logging of BOQ, specification and bidding/tender drawings, evaluation of prequalification, engineer’s estimates, comparative statements, etc. 2) Document Controller May 2018 – Apr 2019

Fazaia Housing Scheme Karachi – Pakistan

Based at Project Management Office and reporting to MD, DMD & Chief Engineer My Tasks and Achievements - Before I joined, no Document Management System was enforced, I prepared a comprehensive Document & Data Control Policy defining the procedure for handling the exchange of information with stakeholders and exchange of information between Sites and PMO. The procedure also covers the handling of Technical Submittals i.e. Material Approval, Calculations, Drawings, etc... The said DMS procedure authorized by MD FHSK for implementation and compliance in PMO and Sites.

3) Document Controller – Site Apr 2015 – Jan 2018

NKY Architects and Engineers Medina – Saudi Arabia Based on Project named King Abdullah Projects (KAP2). Reporting to Area Manager at Site & DC Manager at HO. Client Ministry of Interior

My Tasks and Achievements - Compliance over the existing Project Quality Plan. At Site, QC related documents are to deal with i.e. Site Inspections, Material Inspections, Laboratory Test Reports, Engineer’s Instruction/NCRs and Daily Site Report, etc… Receiving from Contractor, distribution to the Engineers, record approval/rejection, maintain hard/soft copies and updating Primavera strictly. Used to issues on a weekly bases, the Executive Dashboard Summary elaborating the project documentation status.

4) Technical Coordinator (Project DCC Head) Apr 2010 – Feb 2015 Al Rajhi Projects (Al-Rajhi Holdings) Riyadh – Saudi Arabia Based on Project “Information Technology and Communication Complex” and reporting to Technical Manager.

My Tasks and Achievements - I joined the Project from the excavation stage as a Sr. Document Controller, responsible to assist the Engineering Department. Process submissions of all Technical Documents for Engineer’s Approval through PMIS (Primavera). Customized the Excel Log for each Technical Submittals to design an auto-generated summary sheet fully equipment with formulae that provides a real-time discipline wise status of all submittals. After a year, Management promoted me as “Technical Coordinator” to directly supervise the Project Document Control Department and further awarded with a “Certificate of Appreciation”. 5) Secretary / Document Controller Apr 2008 – Jan 2010 Al Habtoor Leighton Group Dubai – UAE

Based on Project named JAFZA Convention Centre, Food Court & Offices Complex. Reporting to Technical Manager, Client Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority My Tasks and Achievements - Joined as Secretary to the Engineering Manager and responsible to assist him in his day to day task but not limited to, follow-up correspondences and pending issues with departmental engineers, type Minutes of Meetings, Inter-Office Memo/Letter to Client/Consultant/Sub-Contractor, etc.

After six months, I relocated to the Technical Department as a Document Controller to process various Engineering Submittals through Aconex. Reporting summaries of all technical documents every week and coordinating with the Planning Department to assist them in generating the Weekly Progress Report. Co-ordination with Consultant’s Documentation Department, Subcontractors, Project Management Team and other Internal Departments for Documentation related issues. Strict adherence and compliance to the internal & client/consultant provided documentation procedures

Roomi Enterprises Private Limited Karachi – Pakistan Start of the career with a Pharmaceutical Division, I was reporting to GM who trained me on how to establish the system of Document Management (DMS). The system was based on MS Excel having a fully descriptive and filtered log.

Furthermore, I was also working as a Warehouse Incharge of Pharma Division, a challenging responsibility and a chance to get a different experience which I did successfully and controlled the inventory of packaging material, raw materials, and finished product manually on stock register, issues materials to Production Department, arrange to dispatch the Finished Product against Sales Order.
