Project : Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project

Position : Project Engineer

Client : MEGA(Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad)

Project Location: Ahmedabad, India

Project Value : $2 million

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all the quality control & execution activities of Precast yard, 4 stations and 6KM viaduct part

Attending Inspection requests raised by contractors.

Looking activities of precast yard like casting of Viaduct segment, Station Pre & post tension I-Girder, Stressing parapet casting .

QA/QC lab activities, material testing.

Attending site inspections for Viaduct activities like Re-bar, shuttering and concreting activities for Foundation, piers and bearing installation.

Viaduct activities, Launching Girder erection & testing, Segment lifting, Alignment, post tensioning, parapet launching & alignment, edge railing of viaduct spans.

Station activities like Construction of pier, Pier arms, I-Girder erection, concourse,track & platform slab casting, brick& masonry works as per drawings Exit Entry structures.

Monitor the start-up, commissioning and handover of the site works. Including maintaining records of the project milestones.

Ensure the contractor’s compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents.

Project : Riyadh Metro Rail Project (Line1)

Responsibilities:

Construction of Total 11.3 Km Long Elevated Viaduct with 6 Elevated stations.

Construction of Olaya Batha Corridor(OBC), which contains 6 line road, vehicle parking, drainage systems, irrigation line for median plants & electrical supply for signals and poles installation.

Monitoring the project and tracking the activities as per proposed ahead schedule are not.

Ensuring that all assigned work has completed on time and as per Project Specifications.

Notifying the delayed activities and preparing the detailed report & submitting to the immediate ARE.

Maintain records of the contractor human and equipment daily resources.

Assist the ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract documents and site requirements.

Frequent safety inspections, to check project HSE specifications and making detailed reports.

Issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.

Inspect the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals Prepare daily logs and reports.

Attending & Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, perform all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.

Raising of non-conformance reports for any violation of the project specifications

Sound knowledge about the launching girder activities, span by span erecting and post tensioning.

Ensuring that all assigned works are completed on time and as per Project Specifications.

Having good knowledge about Balance cantilever constructions.

Attending WIR submitted by the contractor for all the civil activities.

Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.
