Coordination with sub-contractors and temporary agencies on safety training requirements. Coordination with sub-contractors and temporary agencies on incident liability. Provide oversight of contracted field safety professionals on large project sites. Coordinate and compliment outside regulatory auditing agencies.

Responsible through the UPS North California District office in Oakland CA for managing all regulated goods / hazardous materials activity from Ventura CA North to the Oregon border + most of Nevada. Duties involved coordination with the West Region office on both customer and internal employee training regarding the handling – loading – unloading – cleanup of regulated goods including fully regulated hazardous materials. This included certification under the federal HAZWPPR program, use of SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) operation, emergency haz mat spill response, and the regular auditing of these programs.
