In the early days of my engineering career I was once a Facility Manager of a large factory in charge of the following:

§ Mechanical Layout and design innovation for the Steel Plant construction for Reheating Furnace, Conveyors, Roll Stand and other mechanical concerns.

§ Supervise and co-ordinate all daily and SDM maintenance activities with in-house staff and contractors as well as oversee maintenance manpower deployment

§ Plan and carry out modification works for the plant

§ Perform troubleshooting and provide maintenance & technical support to ensure smooth, continuous plant operations

§ Prepare, review and monitor proper stock levels of spare parts As Associate Director in Arcadis, I lead the Critical Facilities and MEP Engineering and Project Management division for Asia Pacific. Aside from my engineering technical responsibilities I am also tasked to develop and grow the business and with my over 30 years of client connection in the region I was able to grow the business almost doubled after just 12 months since I took over the division.

Prior to joining Arcadis I was seconded by Cundall to various Leighton Asia large projects such as the Wynn Palace Casino in Macau as MEP consultant and to the PCB- Passenger Clearance Building of the Macau-Zhuhai-HK bridge project HK side as Commissioning Manager.

At Foster & Partners, I was tasked to lead the MEP team in Hong Kong from design development, project management and commissioning. I placed 3rd placer in the national mechanical engineering board professional licensure examination held in 1987.

ASHRAE Hong Kong in collaboration with LEED and Environment Business Council had invited me in 2018 as speaker to share my knowledge and experience in energy conservation and efficiency. I also received an appreciation award on my life long contribution in energy and sustainability.

ENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Manage the design process of MEP and F using Revit, Microstation, Autocad and IES software.
