In refinery it is necessary to survey all type dimensions of pipes (1/2” to 36” or 40”), different pipeline product (air, nitrogen, water, condensate (low, medium, high pressure), steam (low, medium, high pressure), oil, gas, gasoline, diesel-fuel, flare line. These projects were made with Foster Wheeler Italiana (FWI) in DAV Unit (atmospheric and vacuum distilleries unit) and FCC Unit (catalytic cracking fraction unit).

In collaboration with FWI were developed sketches for tie-in’s and repairs projects, after survey and after FWI

check sketches for a good solution.

To design or to project the lines according EN, SR-EN, ASME, API, BS, DIN by case. In most of cases I used

“Piping equipment” by Trouvay Cauvin, Romanian norms NPCICh and P118 as well NFPA’s. 3
