Emergency Medical Technician and Authorized Provider for the American Red Cross seeking a Medical Technician position. Employed as a Protective Security Officer with Maxsent in Region 10 for the Federal Protective Service.

EDUCATION:

University of Oregon, B.S. In Biology

Portland Community College, Emergency Medical Technician-Basic

SPECIALIZED MEDICAL SKILLS:

Take vitals, administer tests, and check for signs and symptoms of alcohol consumption, procure oxygen, nasal/oral pharyngeal airways, suctioning

Mitigate medical emergencies and crises, use epi-pens, measure/deliver insulin, empty, clean, Foley catheters, administer medications

Place patients in splints, traction, detention devices, backboards, and C-spine immobilization collars, remove casts

Assess patients, examine medical histories, physician advanced directives, and orders, treat based on conditions found

Collect data, compose, and review medical reports, teach/evaluate students execute critical, physical skills

Received the Command coin from Major Phelps at the Military Enlistment Processing Station. Granted a second Certificate of Recognition for filling all posts on the contract for a record, two months in a row in May of 2019.
