Shriners Hospitals for Children – Tampa, FL 2016 Present A network of twenty two non profit medical facilities across North America. Also known as the "The World's Greatest Philanthropy.”

Corporate Director of Telehealth (2016 – Present)

Provide leadership and direction of all telehealth activities at twenty two hospitals located in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada with affiliate locations spanning forty countries.

Created and managed multiple million dollar annual operating and capital budgets.

Developed key performance indicators, dashboards, and other metrics to track and evaluate the success of the twenty two hospital telehealth network.

Led cross functional teams of staff at domestic and international locations through successful implementation and operation of telehealth designs, deployments, and operations. Changes resulted in significant time and financial saving while increasing patient satisfaction rates.

Led development of the Telehealth Care Network training, marketing, and governance expanding telehealth throughout the system including site to site, direct to consumer, and on demand services.

Led a cross functional team of stakeholders through the process of creating both the strategic plan and business plan guiding TeleHealth activity and direction over the course of three to five years.

Partnered with organization leadership and information technology staff at rural hospitals and healthcare centers across Oklahoma to provide technology solutions including telemedicine, virtual visits, and distance learning services for patients, physicians, healthcare workers, residents, and students resulting in improved patient care and decreased costs.

Doubled the number of telemedicine sites across Oklahoma within the first year and a half of leading the TeleHealth Department followed by a high level of consistent growth in future years.

Created telehealth curriculum and provided lecture and lab instruction to all third year medical students, consistently receiving high evaluations from attendees. Family & Children’s Services – Tulsa, OK 2001 2012 Oklahoma’s largest social services agency healing hurting and abused children, strengthening families and providing hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction.

Chief Information Officer (2001 – 2012)

Lead IT and healthcare strategic and operational planning while providing direction for staff to achieve business goals through innovation and prioritization of IT initiatives; regularly engaging stakeholders to evaluate needs and align with technology solutions.

Performed design, implementation, and oversight of critical OpenText ECM Enterprise imaging projects under aggressive timelines resulting in complete electronic HRMS and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Created and led team selecting and implementing new EHR ahead of schedule and below budget.

Oversaw all technology management and implemented healthcare solutions to provide enhanced patient services, reduce agency costs, and increase patient satisfaction.

Designed and implemented a billing and authorization system integration between the agency electronic health record (EHR) and the State of Oklahoma’s ICIS medical system. The integration permitted the automation of manual processes resulting in the ability to decrease necessary staff size by over 15 FTE.

Created and managed the technology budgets as the agency increased in size from 150 staff with a budget of six million dollars to an agency with over 600 staff and a budget of over forty million dollars.

collaboration system. The system resulted in improved communications, additional functionality, and a significant cost savings across multiple sites. Society of Exploration Geophysicists – Tulsa, OK 1993 – 2001 An international society promoting the science of applied geophysics and the education of geophysicists headquartered in Tulsa, OK, with over fifteen thousand members. Manager, Computer Services (1998 – 2001)

Acquired and implemented Documentum ECM solution to provide a fast and highly reliable content delivery system to over fifteen thousand agency members. The addition of this solution resulted in the ability to automate web site updates and content. The successful Documentum design and implementation provided the ability to host a much larger amount of information from multiple sources with a faster delivery to the membership base while utilizing less human resources.

Acquired and implemented SUN Ultra Enterprise Servers, Sun Storage Array hardware, and web servers. This addition of equipment and software permitted the agency web sites, as well as user group and student group web sites, to be hosted locally by the agency.
