Sr. Business Intelligence Software Engineer - RMS, Newark, CA (Jul 2017- Current) RMS is a leading catastrophic Risk modeling company. Major re/insurance companies rely on RMS models to underwrite insurance premiums. Owned internal analytics platform in terms of technology, team & projects.

Led Business Intelligence group at RMS to architect companywide enterprise BI software tools including Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, ETL tools, Salesforce, and Snowflake Computing.

Assessed analytics requirements based on technical and business use cases. Developed custom reporting solutions in the realm of available technologies and created strategy for the future roadmap for finance & accounting, business planning, Sales, HR, marketing and product teams.

Established and rolled out development best practices to improve productivity and project quality (code/UI review), project management, cross-team collaboration & Agile development (bi-weekly sprints, daily scrum).
