LORENZO Regional Care Data Migration is a part of LORENZO Regional Care program for NHS, to migrate the data from legacy system to new system. The scope of Data Migration testing is based on end-to-end testing of Intermediate file formats identified in different work areas.

An Intermediate Flat File (IFF) file will be created by extracting the data using Informatica tool from the source data base (i. Patient Manager). The Data in the IFF file will be loaded into target (Lorenzo) by using the LDMS (Lorenzo Data Migration Studio) tool. Data Migration Testing involves validation of Intermediate file formats and intermediate Flat files. The validation of the same is done by using the Lorenzo Data Migration tool (LDMS) by running the migration process.

Responsibilities:

Created staging database by using metadata.

Validated Informatica mappings, workflows and extracted the data in flat files by using DTS.

Created and executed SSIS packages.

Verification of XML files, Source excels, Target Excels, Release Notes and Snapshot Documents.

Imported the metadata XMLs, DTRs (Data Retrievals) into LDMS and validated the XMLs as per the business logic.

Added indexes to the DTRs to increase the performance.

Validated the Lookups, Expressions and Validations as per the business logic in requirement specification.

Fixed data related issues in SQL server and cleared the transaction and audit log files.
