Non Profit organization serving the educational and social needs of children and their families on Cape Cod. Established in 1971, the program in 2018 had a budget of 12.5 Million and approximately 170 staff members.
Accounting Manager
Manage four (4) staff in finance department Prepared monthly journal entries, account analysis, account reconciliations and schedules.
Preparation and entry of monthly journal entries into Blackbaud Financial Edge accounting system.
Oversight of submission of billing to Commonwealth of MA for childcare services and summation of billing for monthly entries to general ledger.
Review and summation of Early Intervention billing and preparation of journal entries for input to general ledger.
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll summation and generation of entries to general ledger, and backup for payroll processing as needed.

Provide oversight and management of all financial functions of the agency, reporting to the executive director.
Prepared monthly journal entries, account analysis, bank reconciliations and schedules. Produced and presented monthly budget to actual financial statements and analysis to the board of directors.
In conjunction with senior management and department heads developed the annual operating budget and provided overall oversight and administration of the budget.
Prepared yearly audit work papers and assisted outside auditors in the preparation of the annual state reporting and support documents.
Managed reporting and oversight of state and federal contracts and agreement renewals with collaborating partners and subcontractors for childcare related services.
