Duties and Responsibilities are as under:
Verify and check compliance of camp on a day to day basis.
Camp Administration
Planning & Implementation
Cost Control
Rooms allotments as per company procedure
Local Purchase for soft furniture etc. as per company norms
Accommodations for new arrivals
Checking rooms every day (Anybody absent or sick) keep record
Any sick person arrange medication/transportation (If required)
Supervision for Housekeeping (Cleaning of toilets, corridors, surrounding etc.)
Keep record of billing of Electricity & Gas consumed.
Keep record of billing of Electricity & Gas consumed.
- Disposal of sewage water and maintain proper record if tanker hire-in.
- Supervision of Staff/Workers Canteen –
Co-ordination with Admin. Dept. for new arrivals/departures –

Camp Maintenance
General Duties:
Reports to the Camp Manager and carries out the duties as assigned.
Participate in staff meetings providing feedback, teaching, and insight for camp needs, etc. Enforce fairly all rules and regulations of the Camp.
See that the property is adequately protected at all times.
Supervise camp employees and volunteers as assigned by camp manager.
Schedule time off in a manner that does not conflict with camp functions or operations. All time off would be coordinated through the Camp Manager.
Working hours are not limited by a set schedule. May be called upon at all hours to perform camp duties. Assistant Manager will be expected to work 2 weekends per month.
Attends and participates in Committee meetings when appropriate.
Promotion of the Camp:
Will attend meetings when possible to promote and enhance the camp. This includes but is not limited to attending conferences, seminars and workshops.
Promote the camp with ministers, staff and congregation with our supporting Christian Churches on a regular basis. This includes personal contact to encourage definite plans of promoting the camp. Maintain good will by keeping in communication with other churches and support groups. Coordinate effort with camp manager.
When time permits, filling the area pulpits on occasion to promote the Camp. This develops good will and communication among our churches.
Should always encourage the use of the Camp facilities when the calendar permits.
Programs:
Participate in all required training programs for people serving as faculty.
Business Management of the Camp:
Provide a detailed report each month to the camp manager to be included in board reports.
Policies and Legal Aspects:
The Assistant Manager will serve as pro tem in areas assigned by camp manager and approved by camp board.
The Assistant Manager must be aware of local, state and federal laws that affect our camp and its operations.
The Assistant Manager must be proactive on issues that could affect our operation and make them aware to the Camp Manager.
Duties by Season
Spring (February – May)
●Identify the “Camp Cheer Leader” in each Church and make contact at least 3 x per year with at least one of those being in person w/ C.M. help.
●With C.M. help make a special camp promo visit to each Church
●Help organize work day groups and assist with “readying” the camp for summer
Summer (June – August)
●Coordinate with deans when planning activities helping to provide for their needs
●Oversee/Run Zipline, Canoes, Pool assigning staff for these activities
●Help C.M. evaluate classes, teaching & programs
●Collect and maintain library of program curriculum
●Always look for ways to develop more programming and deans
●Tag team summer hours with C.M. as needed while always being available and nearly always being present
●Run errands in town as needed
●Be in office as needed to maintain Manager presence
●Organize a debrief session with each Dean after camp
Fall (August – November)
●Tag Team weekend retreats with C.M.
●Contact Retreat groups two weeks prior to arrival and coordinate needs with staff
●Follow-up with Churches after mailings concerning annual meeting and adult retreats
●Help develop more Adult and Youth Programs outside summer months
●Evaluate camp facilities as to how they relate to programming and convey needs to Buildings and
Grounds committee
Winter (November – January)
●Assist with Facility projects as needed
●Help develop promotions literature and videos
●Develop a calendar/schedule of Church visitations for coming year
●Seek out paying retreat groups to use the camp during the week (Monday –
