Work Experience

1.Currently working as a Process Engineer at Kanpur Fertilizers and Cement Ltd. since 26th of May 2018.

2.I was “Project Assistant-2” since 3rd of October 2016 to 25th of May 2018 in CSIR-IIP (Indian Institute of Petroleum), Dehradun on a Project Title “Technology demonstration and process feasibility for production of Bio-Aviation fuels” sponsored by CSIR (Council of scientific and Industrial Research), Govt. of India Under the Supervision of Dr. Anil Kumar Sinha (Principle Scientist) where I am involved in the following task:

Operation and maintenance of VINCI, XYTEL (Lab scale, Bench scale also) and TPR Hydro processing pilot plant.

Operation and maintenance of Vacuum Batch Distillation plant.

Working round the clock on hydro processing plants involving evaluation of catalyst from 1gm to 1 kg, process parameters: pressures of 60- 200 bar and temperatures of 320ºC – 550ºC.

Handling feeds such as vacuum gas oil, paraffinic waxy crude, foots oil, light cycle oil and syn gases (Hydrogen and Carbon monoxide).

Synthesis of catalyst Ni-Mo/Al2O3, Co-Mo/Al2O3 and Ni-W/SiO2–Al2O3 for Hydro processing of Jatropha oil in Naphtha, Diesel and Kerosene.

Working and interpretation of data using analytical instruments such as – Gas Chromatography, Refinery gas analyzer and Digital Flame Photometer.

Handling of Sonication and Density meter.

Academic projects:

Project Title-1: Design a shell and tube heat exchanger in the session of 2014-2015

(Semester VII).

Project Title-2: Design a Hydrochloric acid plant (HCl Plant) with capacity of 150 ton

per day. (Semester VIII).

Industrial summer projects:

Project Title-1: Synthesis of urea based upon natural gas, ammonia and carbon dioxide

as raw materials.
