Synopsis

Qualified M.Sc. Geology and IWCF Supervisor Level (Surface BOP Stack, need to be renewed).

10 years’ experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Field Operations and the Data Management. Expertise in identifying, interpreting and correlating reservoir zones and non-reservoir zones.

Expertise in real-time monitoring of drilling operations and pre-detecting the problems involved and responds to them with suitable solutions and suggestions. Good operational skills and technical knowledge.

Good knowledge in Wellsite Geology & Quick look Log Evaluation, Well Control Procedures and the Equipment. Adhere to O&G QHSE policies.

Rig-Drilling Operations & Well Control Procedures, Mud Logging & MWD/LWD. Drilling Operations with MPD. Knowledge in Directional Drilling and Mud Engineering also.

Hands-on Upstream Oil and Gas Drilling Operations, Tools and Equipment, Data Sets.

Able to work in any suitable role either in Geology based or in Drilling Operations based.

Job Outline

Upstream O&G Consultant LTTS, India.

Domain support and QC for Automation of G&G Legacy data. Tying up and integrate wells data to field and basin levels. Field level and Basin level Data Management, Upstream Oil and Gas.

The data includes the initial contract and licensing through the services of Geophysical Explorations, Drilling Operations, Field and Reservoir Evaluation, Production, Completion and Work-Over, Production, EOR and to abandon reports.

Responsibilities

Managing logging unit and crew, being constantly aware of:

– All aspects of drilling operations ensuring best and safe practices in targeting reservoir zones.

– The mud program, Hydraulics and Geological changes, evaluating all indications of over-pressured zones.

– Stratigraphic correlation with cuttings, correlation with MWD/LWD logs and reservoir identification and picking up of casing and coring points.

– Real-time data (Accurate Drilling parameters and geological data such as mud logs and pressure logs collection at the rig site) reporting and transforming through WITS.

Trainee - Sr. Mud Logger (Sr. Data Engineer)

Responsibilities

Managing mud logging unit and crew under Wellsite Geologists.

– Preparing geological reports, well logs (master log, pressure log, etc.) and final well reports. Organize the well control data for safe side drilling and future planning, primary well control and abnormal pore pressure detection.

– Pore Pressure evaluations and analysis of control indicators (D' exp., Sigma, Shale factor, Shale Density), monitor the shut-in & circulation pressure and report to well control personals as needed.

– Handling of core samples, preparation of required core logs and reports.

– Monitoring mud, gas and drilling parameters signs of imbalance of downhole and hole filling parameters during all trips.
