JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain production and quantity by ensuring of all electrical equipment within the

Mining Hydrometallurgical Cu Crushing & Milling Plant.

Overseas/lead an Electrical team responsible for all Intallation & Maintenance task to all electrical

Components / machinery utilized in the Plant.

Cu Plant Crushing & Milling Maintenance Electrician Duties

Resposible for knowing the Following Procedure; for Starting Up the Mill and Shutdown during Under Maintenance

Authorised Person Recommended by Electrical Engineer or his Nominee and Appoited in writing by the Designated Person to Carry Switching, Isolating, Testing and Earting on Electrical Main and Apparatus with Under the Instruction to Issue WORK PERMIT

Ensures operation of all electrical machinery by overseeing preventative maintenance

requirement on motors, switchgear, cables, MCC’s, field operated push botton station,

electrically operated safety devices and any other electricalequipment; following diagrams,

sketches, operational manuals, manufacturer’s instruction, engineering specification and

troubleshooting techniques by the plant electricians.

Responsible for inspection and testing of all electrical, equipment; analyzing test result for

irregularities, and then ducumenting these irregularities in a maintenance log.

Responsible for advanced deductive reasoning required for root cause malfunction of all

electrical components / equipment and the repair / replacement of these according to OEM

specification and industry regulation

Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory

level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies. Report all low of stock levels/ equipment spares from the supply chain stores.

Provides electrical maintenance information by answering question and request from Manegement, Engineering HOD and the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor .

Prepares electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

and trends as required.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, provided by Mutanda Minning SARL; reviewing of OEM technical publication for equipment within his area of responibility.

Maintains a safe, clean working environment for department personal under him, promotes

safety within his department and other by complying with health and safety procedure, rules,

and regulation of Mutanda Mining SARL.

Perform Mechanical and Lubrication Preventative Maintenace such as Repalce or adding Oil on Main Bearing, Gear Box, Ring Gear. Maitain the Grease for Ringgear Spray and changing Filters for Lube System. Checking and monitoring in Scada screen; Oil Level, Temperature, Pressure & Flows on the Lubricating System.

Contributes to the Cu Crushing & Milling maintenace department and all other maintenance

related plant department team by accomplishing related result as needed by manegement in maintaining company production set targets and budgets

Control unscheduled downtime by informing Cu Plant Production Management / Engineering HOD / Electrical Superitendent of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance and facilitates the planning department personal in scheduling maintenace routines on equipment within his area responsibility.

Is responsible to oversee the electrical isolation to all equipment as per lockout policy and procedures in place at Mutanda Mining SARL .

Will attend to Unschedule Electrical Power Outage on the plant .

Are required to work overtime and be on stanby as schedule or called upon maitain the production target

Repair Auto Welding Machine 220-380 volts 50/60 hz troubleshooting diode bridge, transformer for welding, calibrate voltage, changing condenser, solenoid,potencial meter for adjusting frequency to weld, electrical wirring and sensor .

Repair High Frequency portable welding machine such as MATRIX 400 HF troubleshoot and replaced electronics it defend what kind the error shown in the monitor .
