WiTricity Corporation, Boston, Jun 2018 – Dec 2018 Co-Op, Firmware Engineer

• Devised Trace Analyzer which traces the flow of code in target embedded processor based on the captured PWM frequencies generated by that processor in three different Histograms (Direct, Statistical, Snapshot).

• Implemented Statistical Histogram functionality which samples periodically and obtains the current function being executed in the target processor in MISRA compliant C with TI Delfino MCU.

• Designed and Implemented GUI for Trace Analyzer in C# to display all data graphically in real-time.

• Incorporated LED functionality in the scheduler in MISRA compliant C for the Ground Assembly to display states of wireless charging with Piccolo TI MCU using Serial Peripheral Interface(SPI) and Direct Memory Access(DMA). Research/ Teaching Experience

GENESYS Labs, Northeastern University, Boston, Aug 2019 – Dec 2019 Graduate Research Assistant

• Designed and implemented C code for hardware interfacing, electromagnetic sensing, data communication between Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Set up and tested circuits (Device charging, Device sensing, Coil switching) for portable wireless charging pad designed for multiple UAVs, Laptops, Mobile Phones, etc with rapid charge.

• Created UML documentation(Class, Activity, Package) and designed code in Python for ‘coilOS’ with a team of 3 members.

• Collected sensing data for various mobile phone models to make prediction robust, achieving over 90% accuracy. Level Education, Northeastern University, Boston, Jun 2019 – Aug 2019 Teaching Assistant/ Teaching Fellow

• Tutored 20 students in circuits, interfacing sensors and actuators to Raspberry Pi/Arduino, Node-Red, etc and helping troubleshoot hardware and software problems for “Hacking the IoT” pre-college program.

• Conducted topic presentations, assisted Instructor with making tutorials and provided guidance for 8 projects. Northeastern University, Boston, Jan 2019 – Apr 2019 Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Conducted tutoring sessions for 27 students every week for the course “Connected Devices” (CSYE-6530)(core course), which is focussed on developing an IoT device with Raspberry-pi and SenseHAT using at least 3 sensors, actuators, and protocols.

• Assisted professor with grading assignments, providing constructive feedback. Academic Projects

Northeastern University, Boston, MA

Remote Automatic Security Logger (RASL) Jan 2018- May 2018

• Simulated an IoT home security device for surveillance using Java, which captures video only in case of any activity in the vicinity and locally stores the video with a timestamp for OnDemand retrieval.

• Implemented a CoAP client to send sensor data, CoAP server to receive sensor data at the gateway device.

• Implemented MQTT client to communicate with the MQTT broker and implemented a CoAP to MQTT resource handler.

• Exchanged messages with other related projects in JSON format in real-time. Ad-Hoc Network using Linux Nov 2017 – Dec 2017

• Designed a robust and dynamic network solution for a start-up company. Implemented DHCP server for IPv4/IPv6. Mumbai University, Mumbai, India

Automated Waste Segregator Aug 2015 – May 2016

• Designed, simulated and implemented a prototype bin to automatically segregate waste as metallic, wet, and dry.

• Calibrated and interfaced sensors to get 100% accuracy, interfaced actuators using a PIC microcontroller.
