As Controller/then CFO (alongside CEO), grew company from zero to $45 million in revenues and 130 employees. Developed business and accounting controls from scratch. Converted private company to public on TSX and ensured all quarterly securities compliance reporting requirements were met (MD&A). Managed ASC/IIROC/CRA compliance audits.
Responsible for establishing, stream-lining and maintaining policies and procedures for corporate accounting, foreign exchange, cash flow management, budgeting, debt compliance, asset management, IT and payroll/human resources.
Prepared and presented quarterly actual versus budget financial results for two sets of Board of Directors at same time providing risk assessment, go-forward strategies and business sustainability analysis.
