Worked as a DB2 Developer at the FEDERAL RESERVE BUREAU agency of the US Government.

Lead theproject in their financial division called IRM.

During this period Worked on the FR5, a YEAR2000 project for this agency.

Was responsible for training and assisting several programmers to the IBM Mainframe applications development to bring them upto the standards od program development and tesing.

Set up the test plans and helped the IRM personal on system test plan, developed several MVS COBOL, MICROFOCUS COBOLCICS, and DB2 programs, ISPF PANELS to run these MVS COBOL and DB2 programs, tested these programs after utilizing PRE-COMPILE and BINDING procedures to create the PLANS on the DB2 databases.

Tested all the QMF functionality and utilized the SQL-COBOL coding techniques, maintained various DB2 tables for this application development.

Lead the other programmer in order to test the programs, they developed, assisted them in code walkthru and QUALITY ASSURANCE process.

Utilized mainframe tools on this project like, YEAR2000 and MVS COBOL functionality, CICS, DB2, ISPF DIALOG MANAGEMENT TO DEVELOPE THE PANELS, ISPF, IMS, SAS, JCL, QMF, SQL, many PC-MS tools and many more tools which were available there.

Was primarily responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of the credit card division of the Bank Business.

Converted many file transfer systems from tape to the real-time network file transfer functionality for different vendorslocated nationwide.

Worked very closely with the Bank customers, on other different projects for the maintenance of the reporting and database update functionality.

Utilized most of the Mainframe tools like, MVS, ROSCOE, PANVALET, TSO, ISPF, JCL, ENDEVOR, SAS, FILEAID, LOTUS NOTES, EXPEDITOR, CICS, COBOL-II, MICROFOCUS COBOL and many more tools for PC.

Was very much involved in applying the EDI special tools on this project for various functions, modified many on-line and batch programs, tested and maintained to support the banking business.

Was primarily responsible for supporting the development of the Vendor Invoice Conversion (VIC) System which converted over 30 diverse telephone vendor invoice files into GSA standard invoice records for further processing by the GSA Telecommunications Ordering and Pricing System (TOPS). TOPS operated under UNIX on HP 9000 Model 977 super-minicomputers in 5 distributed GSA processing centers nationwide supporting over 300 user terminals.

The TOPS development environment used its advanced skills including ORACLE, ORACLE FORMS 4.5, EDI, SQL, COBOL, Micro Focus COBOL, FoxPro and Microsoft Office/Lotus PC tools.

Was further responsible for task planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, user training, maintenance, problem resolution, customer relations and for verbal and written customer communications.

Assisted as a systems engineer, troubleshooter and field consultant in other GSA TOPS system-wide support.
