Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews project specifications / code requirements, respective procedure, work methodology and ITP / IPS, etc.
Implements the Inspection and Test Plan and Inspection Procedure Standard accordingly.
Conducts daily inspection and test as required in the ITP such as material receiving inspection, positive material identification
(PMI) inspection, lay-out inspection, fit-up inspection, welding inspection, visual & dimensional inspection, blasting / painting inspection and final inspection on fabrication of the following component such as Boiler and Pressure vessel, Water Wall Panels, Headers, Tube coils, HRSG, Structural Parts of Power and Industrial Plant.
Perform Risk Based Maintenance Inspection on Thermal Power Plants and assist in Replica Inspection for material testing; perform NDE activities.
Witness hydrostatic test in accordance with ASME / METI Code and work instruction.
Prepares the required records / documentation of inspected item in accordance with ITP and costumer requirements.
Reports any nonconforming products and processes; prepares nonconformity reports accordingly.
Participates in the disposition of nonconforming items / products. Initiates activities to clear outstanding items in the non- conformity punch list.
Check / monitors subcontractor’s quality performance.
Witness Welder’s Qualification Testing and Welding Procedure Qualification Testing.
Conduct presentation of products to be witnessed by Authorized Inspector or Customer.
Attends internal project coordination meetings.
