I started with Covenant as a driver, I stayed on the road until 2003 and at that time I became the night shift outbound dispatcher. I was responsible for assigning loads to drivers and making sure the freight arrived in tact and in a timely manner . I was then moved to the Dalton terminal where I was responsible for all inbound and outbound trucks for the Shaw carpet account. I was in that role for a year when I moved to the main terminal in Chattanooga as the terminal outbound dispatcher. I remained in that role for a year and was then promoted to dayshift dispatcher. I was responsible for 62 trucks on my board. I was tasked with coordinating trucks to loads and getting the drivers home when requested to do so. I stayed in that role for a little over a year when I was offered and accepted the job as Southeastern Customer Service. I was then tasked with the job of booking loads entering loads into the computer and matching trucks with loads. I had to work closely with the dispatchers to ensure the freight arrived on time and in tact. I 2006 I met and married my husband and decided to go back on the road as a team driver. I stayed with Covenant until 2009 when I lost my husband and decided to move to Alabama.

I was responsible for checking trucks in and out, making sure the orders were correct that were going onto the trucks and upon checkout making sure what was supposed to be loaded was. I was promoted after about a year to customer service. My first account was Leprino Foods, I was tasked with the duties to research product to confirm it was in a saleable condition and that the product was correctly assigned to orders, while I had this account Leprino rolled out the Portal to confirm pallets for shipping. I was one of the first reps to use this and assisted in creating the documents to teach others to use this tool. I was then assigned the T. Marzetti account which I am still responsible for . While the Office Manager was out or on vacation I assumed the duties of billing invoicing training . While maintaining my customers requests. I am currently filling the role as interim lead or Manager in the office with support from our Operations Manager and our General Manager .
