● Delivering acute dietetic service including oral nutrition support and complex enteral feeding on all inpatient wards, these include high dependency unit, surgical, gastroenterology, renal, oncology, orthopaedics, endocrinology, respiratory and care of elderly wards

● Independently managing a community caseload and booking nursing/care/residential home and domiciliary visits

● Shadowing specialist dietitians e.g. the paediatric team in clinic, the gastroenterology dietitians on the wards to practice parental nutrition and in clinic to build on advice for gastroenterology patients (IBS, IBD, Coeliac disease), stroke dietitian on the ward and the community dietitian to for nutrition training in nursing homes

I am now working full-time in the country inn whilst applying for work.

● Presented my Research Project at the BDA symposium 2017

● Attended an Obesity and bariatric surgery: Complications and progress event with the Royal Society of Medicine in London in May 2017

● Diabetes UK – Attended local Diabetes UK events with other members as a volunteer and providing knowledge and resources to the public throughout 2016 and 2017. Additionally, wrote articles for the local Diabetes UK group newsletter and website

● Diabetes UK Speaker training scheme - Completed Diabetes UK speaker training scheme in April 2017, to provide talks in many areas of the community and support people living with diabetes.

● Embarked on the World Challenge trip helping to refurbish a school in a remote village in India and trekked the Himalayas. In order to achieve this I had to raise £4000 over 2 years This was done through fund raising such as organising quiz nights and raffles and running craft days with children

● Completed the extended project at school. The title was ‘Why are parents and practitioners more positive about the ketogenic diet than the medical profession?’

● Tough Mudder – Completed 12 mile cross country/obstacle run in September 2017 in aid of Diabetes UK and organised fundraising/ educational events at University and home Additional Skills
