Planning / organizing of all aspects of financial and accounting operations which included preparation of annual budgets / cash flow forecasts, coordinating day to day accounting workflow, overall administration of 3 staff in Accounts Section, and reporting to the principal insurance company.

Developing and implementing policies/procedures & system improvements for all accounting processing areas, both insurance related and administration.

Performing day to day approval & processing of financial activity which includes (with others) recording of new insurance business, insurance claims lodgment and settlement, agency commission settlement / reconciliations.

Managing/reviewing work performed by other 3 staff to ensure completeness & accuracy of transaction processed, which includes recording of invoices issued, documentation, debit/credit notes processed etc, bank reconciliations.

Monitoring & follow-up of receivables, policies renewal, unsettled claims, un-reconciled invoices and other outstanding items.

Preparation / submission of monthly, quarterly & annual management accounts, related returns to principal office, quarterly & year end performance reports, and annual financial statements as per international accounting standards/group accounting policies.

Preparing variance analysis of management accounts. And reviewing variance analysis of receivables / payables prepared by other staff.

Preparation of MIS reports, and commenting on exceptions / variances.
