I am a motivated, experienced software automation tester with over 2.5 years of experience in the software testing area. I have experience using Selenium, Testcafe and WebdriverIO for testing, as well as Jenkins for continuous integration, Git for source control and Azure Devops/Jira for test case management.

Industry Work Experience

·My role at Unosquare is Software Development Engineer in Test

·Using JavaScript ES6 for test automation on both Testcafe and WebdriverIO

·Managing automation pipelines using Jenkins

·As a consultancy based in Belfast, all Unosquare's clients are based in USA. This means daily stand ups with teams in USA with communication being key

·Adhering to an agile development environment at a very fast pace, surrounded by extremely knowledgeable people

Expleo Group, Belfast (August 2018 to October 2019)

·Completed 4 week training course in South Africa to be a recognised Software Tester, having completed the ISTQB exam

·Software automation tester, proficient in both Java and .NET environments with emphasis on Selenium testing

·Worked on AngularJS applications, using Protractor with JavaScript ES6 for automated testing

Other Relevant Qualifications/Experience

As of August 2018 I successfully completed my ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) foundation exam. This is an internationally recognised software testing examination, with content on all methods of testing.

My background as a consultant and my technical skills I have picked up have helped me gain confidence in customer facing roles.

Throughout my time at Expleo and Ford team building activities were always encouraged. In a consultancy role I am regularly faced with new teams and the ability to adapt to these new teams on short notice is a skill I have developed over the duration of my time at Expleo.

Interests & Achievements

I play guitar to a high level and with this have taught guitar to younger children and this has shown me the importance of patience and good communication skills. From playing the guitar I have gained skills such as determination and dedication. I have participated in relay marathons for charity, and also regularly play at a high level in football which greatly helps my teamwork.
