Job Description:

Main responsibilities are to ensure the efficient production of goods and services in terms of quantity, quality, cost and timing in order to meet the demands of the Company’s final Customers in respects of the Company’s policies and targets.

Managing all the operational aspects of the process that starts from technical specs up to final delivery of goods and responsible for overall suppliers evaluation and development for the entire lifecycle of a customer's order.

Reports to Account Manager (commercial) functional and directly to the Boss

Main accountabilities - Related to Product / Order lifecycle

Receiving and filing styles / tech specs

Analyze style & tech specs sheets and give if necessary proactive feedback to creative department on technical specs (requirements/changes/suggestions)

Proactive research of production options matching: price range, quality, technical and production capacity. It is required to keep an updated file of information on suppliers and their current situation: performance indicators (quality, deliveries, price); expertise; financial situation

Support commercial department with assembly of the commercial offer: samples, swatches, prices, delivery parameters, possible special requirements needed by the selected supplier. Including support in finalizing negotiations with suppliers.

Preparation of detailed production plan for each order, keeping the plan updated at every step.

Gathering and dispatching of info/elements needed by supplier to start production (artwork, spec, specimen..)

follow up of order in every step with appropriate formal reports issued regularly to the Account Manager (i.e. summary of updated production plan with flagging out of criticities) twice a week (Wed-Sat)

input in the Order record of every commercial information which is managed directly

be the key referent for the management sampling / approval and feedback/commenting

Daily visits in factories to supervise inline production and QA activities.

Instructions to QA for special control needs

verification of the order record updates done by QA

manages quality testing: scheduling, execution, reporting

Verifies, reports (in the Order system and if necessary through direct communication) and assist to manage proactively quality and delivery issues during production cycle together with the QA team.

Organize final inspections and if needed book the Third Party inspections in order to meet the delivery time agreed.

assure to accounting, information and support on the payments / finance issues related to suppliers

Support Factories and Commercial team for logistic needs including checking the Packing lists, the vessel booking parameters.

Feedback appropriately Account Manager at the conclusion of the order cycle

Related to new collections development

Assist Account Manager and Creative Manager to prepare new collections by suggesting new products / technologies and new supplier if necessary.

Related to Suppliers

Assist to the preparation and execution of onsite inspections by Customers or Social Compliances Audits
