I am currently 19 years old and in my second year of Business in the Sauder School of Business at The University of British Columbia. At UBC I am also a student-athlete as I play on the Varsity Women’s Hockey Team. I am looking for a position as a Summer Student from the months of May through August 2020. EXPERIENCE

Volunteer, Learn to Skate, Prince Albert — September 2016 - December 2016 Over these four months, two hours each Tuesday, I helped run a “Learn to Skate Program” for volunteer experience and to give back to my hockey community. This program was put together for disadvantaged children in Prince Albert who couldn’t afford to participate in sports like hockey. I taught them how to get dressed in the hockey equipment we supplied, as well as how to skate.

Volunteer, Mount St. Joseph, Prince Albert — September 2016 - December 2017 Every Thursday, I volunteered for an hour at Mount St Joseph, an old folks home in Prince Albert. This involved conversing and playing games with the elderly residents, as well as volunteering at the hair salon in the home. Hostess, Mr Mikes, Saskatoon — February 2018 - August 2018 During my senior year of high school I was a hostess at Mr Mikes Steakhouse and Bar. This job entailed taking reservations, seating guests, bussing tables, and taking online orders through Skip the Dishes, as well as delivering food to tables. Coach, Huskie Prospects, Saskatoon — January 2018 - Current I am currently an assistant coach for my younger sister’s spring hockey team, the 2007 Huskie Prospects. This involves running practices for them, joining them for team activities and events, and coaching them through their games. Instructor, Vancouver Angels, Vancouver — November 2018 - Current Throughout the months of November through April I help lead on ice skills sessions for a hockey program in Vancouver - called the Angels, which consists of girls hockey teams ranging from ages seven to eighteen. With the same group I also lead off ice skills and conditioning sessions.
