ROLE

Responsible of the operation and the development of all the back-end systems mainly focused in the ERP system including HR, Finance and Retail functions. Worked hand to hand with the business team cross all 10 operating regions to achieve business goals and to align top management directions with the technology capabilities and innovation roadmap.

- Vendor management (SLA, deliverables and payments).

-Sisli Optik Acquisition Project in Turkey

Participated as one of the key acquisition team members who effectively rolled-out 17 stores and distribution centers, in addition to migrating all the back-of-house systems (finance, inventory management, and HR) to MAGRABi systems, including staff training on day-to-day system activities and localized with tax and governmental regulations.

-Human Capital Management - SAP HCM System Regional Implementation This project was deployed across 10 countries (mainly Egypt, KSA, UAE, and Turkey), 200 stores and 1200 employees.

SAP Payroll & Time management implementation across 10 countries with different labor laws.

Attendance management (fingerprint) with automated data collection and processing across 200 locations.

Company organizational structure maintenance over SAP with reporting lines.

This project required an unconventional approach for the new entity to join the ecosystem; we have designed and developed this project in-house, which included cost and profit center structuring, article (item) structure, stores assortments and Point-of-Sale (POS) integration.

-Regional Finance Management - SAP FICO

Migration to SAP New GL to facilitate migration to HANA and enhance financial reporting.

SAP leasing module implementation (REFX) to automate rental payments and renewal tracking.

IFRS16 accounting standards implementation (legally required leasing accounting standard for GCC, KSA,

& UAE).

Region-specific VAT implementations (Egypt, KSA, UAE, Lebanon) including master data update and a majority of implementations were performed in-house that dramatically saved time and budget.

Integrating legacy POS system with SAP via (Inbound and Outbound) that lead to a fully automated process with minimal business disruption.
