• Managed team of four engineers in the building and operations of our production line (in-wheel, electric car motors)
• Designed and produced functioning, new technology for testing the insulation on magnet wires with a higher throughput speed, more comprehensive gap identification, and precise gap location identification
• Corrected and improved our assembly procedures and motor design
• Liaison between head of supply chain, general manager, and production team
• Implemented Lean Six Sigma policies on production line and lead informative sessions to elevate key employees
• Initiated and guided building of warehousing system
• Built ERP system in excel for tracking motor production and stocks of materials
• Led daily team scheduling meetings, company-wide weekly project management meetings (in GM’s absence), and after work “academy” learning sessions
Calvin Beer Company, Hefei, Owner, Head Brewer Nov. 2013 – June 2019
• Founded and constructed a production microbrewery with an automated bottling line (built from empty warehouse)
• Bought “Bruges Beer House” and managed it as the company’s primary bar
• Built two locations “Calvin Beer Showroom” and “The Bar” to increase distribution and grow brand awareness
• Purchased 20% stake in “Little Susie’s” (bar) to control draught sales and increase presence in a competitive district
• Managed employees (four in 2013 increasing to over twenty in 2015) and undertook all hiring and firing
• Presented status and updates to investors and successfully increased investments for brewery by 33%
