EXPERIENCE
GKN AEROSPACE (Orangeburg, SC)
Intern, June 2018 to August 2018
Performed time studies in the assembly plant. Aided in design of methods to ramp-up production and make the product quicker and cheaper. Lead a team of four tasked with re-tooling jet assembly parts in preparation for the AS9100 audit. Shadowed the program manager for the jet assembly.
Increased leadership skills.
Analyzed the time study data to come up with ideas for process improvement.
Performed 1.8 times the number of time studies expected per day on average.
PURDUE UNIVERSITY DINING AND CATERING (West Lafayette, IN)
Steward, October 2016 to August 2018
Washed and prepped dishes, trained new staff, performed setup and teardown for catered events.
