Project Details

Project Title (minor) : ROBOTIC ARM(pick & place operation)

Role : Team member

Objective : Pick and place robotic arm have become common place in today’s manufacturing environment. A typical Robotic Vehicle is capable of traveling over various terrains and traversing obstacles. So here we done a robotic arm having four drive wheels coupled to the ends thereof. The wheels are selectively powered to propel the vehicle.

A prototype of the Remote Controlled “Pick and Place” Robotic vehicle was built to validate design specifications. The results obtained were very satisfactory.

Project Title(major) : CFD SIMULATION OF MICRO CHANNEL HEAT SINK WITH MULTIPLE ZIGZAG FLOWS

Role : 3D modeler&analyzer

Objective : To find out the pressure drop&heat transfer rate of a copper base plate with air as working fluid.

Due to its compactness and high volumetric heat flux, micro channel heat sinks are preferred in bioengineering, automotive, HVAC devices, aerospace, power and process industries.

A comparative study is made considering the test data of having multiple zigzag flow channel made from copper material with dimension of 28 x 33 mm. Hydraulic diameter of multiple zigzag flow channel is designed at 1 mm, 7 number of flow channels and heat transfer area is about 1,238 mm

,having constant heat flux of 33 (kW/m

).

The specimen is was designed& analyzed using Siemens NX10.0&ANSYS(fluid fluent). Co-Curriculum Activities (Workshops and Seminars)

Attended a 2 days workshop on “AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY” by GOODWIN MOTORS

(chennai) .

Attended a 2 days workshop on “SIXTH SENSE ROBOT” conducted at JNTU Kakinada in association with IIT-MADRAS.

Attended a 3 days workshop conducted by “SALES FORCE” cloud based Software Company. Participated in “Technical Quiz” in Tirumula Engineering College at narasaraopet. Interpersonal Skills
