Radian Corporation – Sandy, Utah 08/2016 – 11/2018

I worded working as a senior business analyst and Clayton Inc. I report directly to the Vice President of Business Technology Partners in Connecticut. I am working on a large Data Warehouse/ETL project that will reduce the dual entry being performed by the Operations team. Working with third party software vendors that Clayton is using, I have established data feeds that have nearly eliminated all the dual entry being performed by the various departments. I have worked with operations management to develop an “active” inventory of all reporting need. As Clayton is preparing to migrate away from Great Plains to the Oracle

Financials Accounting Hub, I prepared the gap analysis and have facilitated the migration strategy sessions. My Scrum experience has been invaluable in this position. Also, my SQL, data analysis and data warehouse ETL SSRS and Cognos reporting experience has helped to make this an extremely successful engagement. I worked this engagement as a contractor.

Solutions Architect / Project Manager / Business Analyst

Convergys – Salt Lake City, UT 08/1999 to 08/2016

I worked directly with CVG clients to analyze their internal processes they wanted Convergys to outsource. I successfully project managed over one hundred major initiatives while at Convergys. My project management skills came into vivid focus while there, resulting in being awarded the President’s Award for Innovative Thinking. I took an opportunity to become a solutions architect for the Back-Office vertical. My banking experience includes Citibank, Peoples Bank, Exant’e Bank, JP Morgan and Chase Bank. My banking experience for these clients included tax calculation, credit card processing, automobile loan processing and credit card processing. I As part of my client responsibilities, project managed several implementations for our larger clients. This included Customer relationship management (CRM) and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) providing integration planning, purchasing inventory, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources. I project managed the first .NET projects initiated by Convergys for its larger clients. For my final six years at Convergys, I acted as a project manager for AT&T and DirecTV and worked with development teams in India and the Philippines. I directed the entire IT department. My various teams established a nationwide LAN/WAN that

supported all of the Skaggs retail locations. My teams modified the JD Edwards ERP software package to handle retail operations. I had prior experience with the Great Plains accounting package and facilitated the interface and migration sessions for the transition to JD Edwards. As part of the JDE ERP conversion I oversaw the development of a point of sale system for the retail operation that was referred to as 7-11. It was name this due to the speed in which it processed point of sale transactions. The IT department included hardware support, database design, software development, computer operations, network services and the help desk. The new retail system was analyzed, designed, constructed and implemented in 385 stores over the period of one year. This was one of the major milestones in my career. I rebuilt the department completely which brought tremendous success to the company while I was there.

Systems Architect / Business Analyst / Project Manager

Questar Corporation – Salt Lake City, UT 05/1982 to 09/1996

I performed all of the business analysis for Questar’s new Customer Information system. I worked with various levels of management to document their business processes, design new modules and project managed the construction of the new Customer Information System. The design included a relational database and client/server architecture which, at the time, was bleeding edge technology. I project managed six teams of four to five people who worked as developers. I coordinated the activities of computer operations, systems development, database management, front line management and executives within the Questar business structure.

Accomplishments

Managed the construction and technology infrastructure installation of a call center in Bogotá,

Columbia. Most of my team and I handled the entire project without leaving our home offices. I eventually sent two employees to visit the site for a final inspection. These actions saved the company and client approximately $150,000.

When the Missouri river overflowed its banks, a Convergys call center in St. Louis found itself under water which put 1,100 agents out of work. Using my project management skills, I organized and led a team who arranged for 40 portable trailers and a satellite link at a temporary site which enabled the agents to return to work within 20 calendar days. After the temporary arrangements were complete, I project managed the construction and technology infrastructure installation of the new call center.

I Designed and managed the Customer Information System (CIS) for Questar Corporation. I was given a budget of 21 million dollars. Using the James Martin Timebox methodology, I was able to bring the project in six months early, under the budget saving the company 3 million dollars.

I won the Convergys Presidents Award for Innovative Thinking.

Developed a Reefer Monitoring System that tracks refrigerated shipments via satellite. Information and satellite alarm notifications from the system saves multiple shipments daily from total loss that effects the company’s bottom line.
