Coordinated, managed and provided oversight of area development that included the planning, facility and infrastructure requirements. I provided guidance and oversight and project controls for all equipment, materials, and set up for on-line, pre-outage construction and outage maintenance projects for Exelon Extended Power Uprate and Fukushima projects.
Infrastructure Hit Team Leader
Over a four year period, established a well structured High Impact Team that focused on integration of all new projects including Fukushima, and Energy Power Uprate heading into the largest Exelon outages to date. Integrated station departments such as maintenance, security, warehouse, Turbine services, Reactor services, and with all contractors and vendors to establish a coordinated effort to control site infrastructure.
The Infrastructure HIT was identified and recognized by the corporate assessment team, as the new industry standard for the planning of pre-outage and outage preparation for Exelon Generation Stations
Logistics Manager
Plan and implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements. Develop P-6 schedules and communication process for a fluid schedule process. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and customer service logs. I created policies and procedures for all logistics activities and resolved problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports- exports, and customer issues. I supervised the work of logistics for Exelon vendors and sub-contractors, such as Alstom, CB&I, GE, Turbine Services, and Energy Solutions.
Project Manager
I managed the $5M installation and maintenance of temporary to permanent work station areas for all Turbine Retro Fit work groups. Planned and facilitated the construction of the new temporary radioactive protection control point for the P3R18 Project. Facilitated and supported contractors in all logistic requirements and material movement for the turbine replacement, turbine controls, temp power, Iso-phase, RHR, and a list of other projects.

I performed as a project planner, supervisor and estimator for Valley Construction, a commercial construction company that constructed highways, bridges, airport runways, large utility work, and industrial support construction. I collaborated with engineering and task managers in defining procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required for performing planned work packages. I interfaced with project management of other system planners and contractors to develop detailed elements of overall project preparation.

Managed a $9M Time & Materials contract and provided oversight in the project planning and implementation on the redesign of security upgrades per new NRC requirements.

Responsibilities included detailed project planning and assistance in contracting and managing facility upgrades. I contracted new construction, concrete work, road building, utilities, and refurbishing older buildings. I managed turnkey projects for multiple site managers with a record of projects, under budget and on time.
Under my oversight our company had a perfect safety record at Exelon Quad Cities Nuclear Station
My team with the site environmental manager exposed and improved a Tritium containment concern that saved the plant an estimated $10mil of exploratory expenses.
