2012 – 2014 Bayelsa State Government, Nigeria

Senior Advisor to the State Governor on Information Computer Technology (ICT) Training & Development. Installed several computer server functions in conjunction with Cisco engineers. Implemented and taught cyber education courses. Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials. Managed the office of the Governor advising on ICT related questions and responding to inquiries on his behalf. Interviewed ICT vendors and attended meetings with Commissioner(s) of Technology for software/hardware recommendations in preparation for purchase. Represented Federal capital Abuja on behalf of Bayelsa State at ICT meetings with international vendors. Performed training seminars to encourage computer literacy among citizens and students. Oversaw performance of project engineers; planned contract bidding process with major oil companies including AGIP and Shell; coordinated client/server architectural design; Microsoft exchange server application design and development; oversaw engineers developing internet and intranet design; and coordinate and approve all IT related purchases including purchase orders.
