Project - Managed Safety Portal

This Portal Offers ECPs and Employers a managed Service for ordering Safety Eyewear. Gives companies more control over how they administer benefit plans to their employees. Provides an automated voucher and payment system for receiving safety glasses. This portal is built with .NET and TIBCO providing the services to UI. Part of Application Layer and Complete Enterprise Layer is built in TIBCO. Enterprise data uses Party relationship model (DB).

Responsibilities:

Reviewing the solution documents provided by the Solution Architects.

Converting the solutions into Designs.

Responsible for providing the Designs to offshore teams and coordinating the development with them.

This project provides new capabilities to labs, allowing them to validate and resolve errors and delays before the orders print at the lab. Business Routing and Translation rules are added into each of the Order processing flows. This will be a centralized canonical Order object that will allow us to capture and track a few detailed pieces of the incoming order. This new additions are handled using complex Event processing (Tibco BE)

Operational Excellence (OpEx) project for Ciba Vision, A Novartis Company, and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). Ciba Vision researches, develops and manufactures contact lenses and lens care products. As part of their OpEx (Operational Excellence) Program, Ciba Vision was creating a global instance in SAP R/3 where TIBCO BW was used in integrating their legacy applications with SAP R/3. Integration between various involved systems will be achieved using TIBCO suite. The TIBCO interfaces are developed by using TIBCO BW in designer and testing is done in TIBCO Administrator.

Responsibilities:

During Development, was responsible for documentation, developing the interface, configuration scripts (DB, EMS, FILE etc), Unit testing, deploying.

Designed and developed the interfaces using Tibco BW.

Deployment of the interfaces in Tibco Administrator.

During Production Support, was responsible for Production Defects analysis and fixing, enhancements, technical specs design, Unit Testing, deployment guides, QA testing and operational support.
