This Hydraulic arm could lift up to 3kg and could grip with a force equivalent to crushing an aluminum can. The hydraulic system was made out of syringes and wood was used in the construction of the structure.

• Design and assembly of 2-D Mini CNC plotter from DVD drives The CNC plotter is simply a machine that could write/draw for you. The user would code and feed it in to the plotter, the plotter will decrypt and then would start writing. The machine wrote using a pen.

• Design and fabrication of a Sugar-cane juicer and cooler machine Precarious work was done to achieve this project. The aim was to produce an affordable machine for domestic use. From selecting the materials to designing the cooling mechanism, each part was a challenge of its own. Food-grade stainless steel was used for the machine’s structure, Wooden rollers to squeeze the canes and Peltier plates were used to instantly cool the juice. The end result was a cool, refreshing glass of sugar cane juice.

• Suspension Design of a Formula-Student style race car for Formula Student Team DSU Burraq Being the design head for the Formula student Team DSU Burraq, I have meticulously worked to design, plan and develop the suspension system. The suspension is able provide optimum traction on the track.

• Design Report for the Formula Student Team DSU Burraq The design report was authored solely by me. It encompassed all the design aspects and decisions the team made for the car. It not only described but also justified the design of the systems.

• Making of a power supply (AC to DC converter)

This simple project was a circuit designed to convert AC electricity to DC electricity.

• Design of a Catapult

This project was done just for a competition. The catapult could launch Tennis balls to up to 112 feet. Although, the catapult was the most powerful catapult present there but it did not win the competition because of a competition rule we overlooked. Nevertheless, Seeing the ball fly further and higher than the opponents was satisfying enough.

• Construction of a Digital Clock

Using the knowledge of sequential and digital logic, a digital clock was fabricated. This device was capable of displaying time in a 12-hour format. It also had the added functionality of an alarm clock.

• Final Year Project- Design and Fabrication of a Class III Forklift Similar to a hand pallet forklift but with a whole new lifting mechanism and a different control method. The forklift can lift about 100 kgs. The lifting power is achieved by a linear actuator and the whole forklift can be controlled via remote control. This project was among the top 9 projects that were selected for Pro-Ex ‘19
