● Experience in Air Preheater Basket replacing, alignment adjusting of rotor shaft, seal adjustment clearance checking.

● Functioned in High Pressure Feed Water Heaters tube leakage detection and leakage arresting work.

● To attend emergencies like system failure, load throw offs and block outs etc.

● Experience in troubleshooting the rotary equipment of Boiler and Turbine auxiliaries.

Operation Engineer –

Expertise in operations for monitoring the parameters of Boiler & Turbine auxiliaries and review it according to PID as per operational requirements.

Observe and record the parameters of Pulveriser, Rotary auxiliaries and Air Pre-Heaters’ of Boiler on log sheets.

Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures of thermal power plant as per International Standardization of Organization.

Start up of Plant, Rolling, Synchronizing, Ramp up of Load Generation, DCS Operation in Auto or Semi-Auto Modes at Different Load Conditions.

Handling Start Up and Safe Shutdown Activities of Boiler, Turbine and its Auxiliaries during Planned and Unplanned Maintenance Schedules and coordinating and monitoring the maintenance activities.

Equipment Conditioning Monitoring Programmed on Major Static Equipments, Performance Monitoring of Frequent Failures, and Failure Analysis on Chronic issues and action for remedial Measures.

Continues follow up of the local conditions of Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation equipments.

Scheduling and detailing maintenance activities for various Equipments and plant packages during Commissioning activities, Trail and Operation.

Coordination with Instrumentation to check the Operation logics for permissive and Control protections.

Coordination with Electrical to check the changeover logics, tripping and protections.

Hands on Experience in Trouble shooting, Condition Monitoring of BTG and BOP Auxiliaries.

Coordination with Coal Handling Plant which includes Coal Unloading Systems, Coal storage Facilities, Belt Conveyor equipment and, Bucket wheel stacker Cum Reclaimer.

Issue & cancellation PTW with LOTO (Permit to Work with Lock Out Tag Out)system.

Responsible for equipments changeover schedule without fail and follow the changeover operations.

To reduce the downtime of unit and its auxiliaries by avoid tripping.

To reduce oil consumption by increasing the availability of mills and its auxillaries and maintain coal consumption as per standard.
