Responsibilities included the preparation, installing, and uninstalling of monthly Security Patch Updates from Microsoft using SCCM 2012 administration and BMC Remedy for over 30,000 endpoints (virtual and physical).

I did research for the patches, testing to insure proper functionality of the software applications and third party applications. These included all Adobe Products, Citrix, Share Point, Merlin and others business related programs.

I used BMC Remedy to work with other departments to ensure installation capabilities regarding time and patch compatibility. I also used Remedy to handle work tickets associated with patch remediation.

I worked directly with third party vendors to help find solutions to testing problems.

Vanguard Group - (Contract Position-Desktop Engineer Tier II)

Desktop Support Services Jan. 2016- March 2016

Responsibilities included the day to day incident ticket resolution and desktop support via HPSM for approximately 2000 users.

Required completion of Desktop Service Tickets that included hardware and software installation requests along with the upgrade and migration of software, hardware, desktops, laptops and peripherals.

Maintained Asset Management of inventory and company assets to include computers, monitors, mobile phones, cameras, etc.

Involved in preventative maintenance on trade floors in a high paced environment where latency is not allowed.

Trade floor equipment responsibilities included working with VDX computers in a VDI environment where stocks are traded.

Migrated or upgraded all related software and hardware for CVS Corporate with emphasis put on compatibility and vendor support for applications running on Windows 7 and making decisions based on data retention and application readiness and availability.

Used SCCM and vendor sites to install software back to laptops and desktops that require licensing or upgrading.

Set up VPN to local wireless and remote VPN connections.
