Shift Leader of a ten-man low profile protective detail. My duties consisted of planning and conducting low profile movement and advance operations throughout Baghdad. As a Shift Leader I was responsible for ensuring all posts and details positions are properly covered and the detail is operating smoothly in accordance with the schedule and preset plans. I was also responsible for promoting and maintaining moral, training, proficiency, and administrative tasks.

Trained as first responders to rescue personnel who were injured or in disabled vehicles. Maintained readiness of emergency response team. Led convoy security and Protective Security Detail/Close Protection (PSD/CP) missions throughout Iraq. Monitored activities performed by a team of 16 Security Specialists and 15 Truck Drivers to ensure strict compliance with security protocols, military regulations, and mission objectives.

Played a key role in the successful completion of security and emergency response operations in all regions of Iraq; acted as liaison between Iraqi and Coalition authorities.

• Protected convoys, corporate personnel, and materials; ensured maintenance and readiness of vehicles.
