Worldwide assignments to include combat deployment to Iraq and support operations in Korea, Cuba, and Haiti. Served for seven years in a US Army Hospital. Served for six months on active duty as staff chaplain for 2/12 bed ICU wards, NICU, ER and Oncology/ Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft Lewis WA. Ten years of experience in leadership and supervisory roles. Providing recruitment and mentoring of chaplains in two Command Chaplain assignments. Five years as Command Chaplain of the 351st Civil Affairs Command supervising 10 Unit Ministry Teams and over four years as Command Chaplain of the 63rd Regional Support Command supervising and providing assignments and career development for over 150 Chaplains in a seven-state territory.

OUTPATIENT STAFF CHAPLAIN/HINDS HOSPICE

January 2013 to August 2019 (40 - 50 hours per week)

Chaplain for outpatient spiritual/religious support for patients (families and friends) who experienced end stage and terminal disease. Provide memorial services for grieving families. Provide leadership and execution of agency We Honor Veterans program. Led as a Chaplain Preceptor for two currently serving chaplains. Provide leadership for the agencies Service of Remembrance.
