SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT October 2016 – Present

Responsible for developing weekly and monthly financial reports showing analysis of the financial accounts. Identifying and recommending modifications to existing procedures or the production of new systems to improve efficiency.

Duties:

• Producing monthly management accounts, P&L, Balance sheet & Cash Flow, VAT returns;

• Preparation and reporting of income and expense forecasts to senior management;

• Identify and develop controls, processes to ensure risks and opportunities are highlighted and preparing and recommending policies and procedures;

• Processing expenses, overtime claims, refund, advances and arranging the payment of staff salaries through the computerized payroll system and e-banking;

• Prepare inputs and supervise an external consultant preparing the payroll, maintained HR Records and all tax and financial statements to be submitted to local tax authorities: P/L and Balance Sheet, INSS, VAT, Tax reporting & payments “Models 22, 20, 39 and 19”;
