DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts receivable
● Receiving cash and cheque from customers as per the outstanding statement
● Preparing sales statement
● Tallying daily cash in hand
● Daily depositing the cash and cheque in the bank
● Monthly preparing the aging report and sending the updated statement to customers
● Follow ups of the customers for outstanding
Accounts Payable
● Checking the invoice entries and ensuring invoice number, date, amount, vendor’s name and posting the entries in appropriate expense account in proper cost center with proper narrations
● Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Cash forecasting.
● Setup Supplier account (with Address, banking information) in accounting software’s in order to pay them for their goods and services.
● Validating Supplier Address to find out whether they are in ECL(Embargoed Country list)
● Keeping tenancy contract record and informing the dues to chief accountant and making payments.
● Making the payments through cheques / bank transfer according to the credit limit
● Monthly reconciling vendor account.
General Accounts
● Handling emails and other confidential correspondence and documents
● Handling associates accounts and sending monthly statements to associates with all supporting.
● Receiving funds from associates and accounting and set off as per their details.
● Types of Entries passed in respective ledgers with proper narrations.
● Half yearly preparing interest component to associates accounts and the interest charges debiting to their current account.
● Preparation of monthly and yearly expenditure statement and report generation
● Monthly bank reconciliation
