For over the past six years, I have held the position of A Marketing Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Ventures Bahrain / Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas (LEC). Covering the full marketing responsibilities for all Bahrain’s MAF LEC brands (VOX Cinemas, VOX Cineco, Magic Planet & Wahooo! Waterpark), including setting strategies, studying marketing trends, managing communications, strategizing and preparing advertising campaigns, planning & setting budgets, managing team members and more.

- A member of City Centre’s Retail Board Committee for six years.
- Opened and launched the first Magic Planet in Riyadh – KSA (The Riyadh Park).
- Opened and launched the second & the third Magic Planet stores in Bahrain (The Avenues Mall
& Enmaa Mall).
Responsibilities:
- Setting and preparing marketing strategies & generating annual marketing calendar for all LEC Bahrain brands (VOX Cinemas, VOX Cineco, Magic Planet, and Wahooo! Waterpark) to meet the budgeted Footfall.
- Creating tie-ups & promotions between sister brands and non-MAF relevant brands to channel traffic from one venue to another.
- Conducting weekly, monthly & yearly reports related to marketing figures.
- Conducting market visits & competitive analysis for all Bahrain LEC brands.
- Coordinating with external agencies to ensure maximum penetration per BD expended, including selection, appointment & evaluation of agencies. Overseeing creation and delivery of work: Creative artworks, Digital & Social Media, PR (press releases, events & CSR), and other marketing materials.
- Creating & building database and maintaining data capturing of guests through incentive-based strategies.
- Creating & developing products related to different TA segments to offer the most competitive programs in the market & ensure TA inflow is met.
- Managing the sales team & ensuring sales target is met on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- Hosting exclusive Movie premieres in Bahrain at VOX Cinemas & VOX Cineco through winning pitches, inclusive of partnerships with media (Bahrain TV & Radio Bahrain) to ensure the highest coverage.
