Assisting students in Professor Hao Yue's class 'Computational Thinking and Intro to Python Programming' in organizing, debugging, and writing Python code.

Teaching and reviewing essential Python basics such as: variables, lists, dictionaries, for-loops, while-loops, if-else statements, and commenting.

Providing high school teachers with the necessary knowledge of programming fundamentals required in order to teach computer science basics.

United States Coast Guard

Conducted physical and network security audits to ensure a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility met DISA standards. Ran weekly and monthly network vulnerability scans and analyzed the results. Monitored Windows event logs to check for discrepancies. Enforced physical security standards for a classified space to ensure personnel were cleared before entering.

Investigated and corrected issues with user accounts, e-mail, and workstations on an active directory domain. Regularly interfaced with Cisco routers and switches to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Aided in designing the network infrastructure for both the unclassified and classified spaces onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Munro.

Maintained an intranet website used by the command to disseminate critical information to the crew using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Created scripts to regularly ping workstations on the domain to ensure they were online and ready for updates.

Reddit Bot - Python

Delivers Reddit content to a Discord channel at the user's command. Utilizes the Discord and Reddit API. Allows for the user to create a custom hotword to request content from either a specific subreddit or a random subreddit. Hosted on Heroku to allow for 24/7 uptime.

Hand-Shift Corrector - C#

Corrects typos caused by the user's hand being shifted on the keyboard using hashed keyboard stroke patterns and an English dictionary file. Includes a unit test to verify that mistyped words are corrected.

Chess Game - C++

Developed the game of Chess completely from scratch using C++. Utilizes the SFML graphics library to create the board and pieces. Includes all the back-end logic needed to play the game of chess including rules for piece movement, checks, checkmates, en passant, and castling.

Random Color and Line Generator - JavaScript

Animated concept for a screensaver that utilizes random number generation and algebra to create random lines and colors across the user's screen

Word Finder - Javascript

Returns a list of words that can be constructed from a string of characters inputted by the user
